Great suit for training and race day! BUT Don't forget the BodyGlide!, October 11, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Pearl Izumi Men's Elite Inrcool Tri Suit (Apparel) I am 5'10 with a 32-34" waist (shrunk during 2 months of training). I was 185 when I got the suit and within a month was 175. The suit fit great at both weights, size medium, although a little snug in the chest, but my shoulders are a little broad. Still the material stretches well and once I'm training, I don't even notice it. Comfortable on the bike, and running, and under the wetsuit you don't even know its there. Pockets are convenient but may take practice using them and they are plenty big enough to carry my HTC Evo (bigger than iPhone) without any problems. I love the suit and will probably get another one.
Dries super fast out of the water and doesn't chaff during riding or running, but if you do open water you may want to BodyGlide the appropriate areas, I.e. nipples, thighs and perhaps your, ..ahchmmm, ..twig and berries, IF you know what I mean.

I like this suit because addresses the three most important elements of a tri suit. Flexibility! Staying Dry! Pockets! It has all three. The suit fits very well, but not too tight in the shoulders with great ventilation under the arms and down the torso. Two good size pockets for gel. The compression shorts built in help reduce muscle fatigue over longer courses. Great tri suit.

I bought it based on previous reviews which were great and probably true as you can see if you read them. I will not talk about the quality or how it performs while training or at a race.
Instead my advice to you is get a larger size then you are planning on buying. I am 5.6 and 155lbs, according to the chart of chest and waist mesurement I am suposed to be a Medium. It fitted well size wise but my problem was the height. As soon as I would wear the whole outfit with the zipper closed or oppen it would start pulling my torso down. To the point where i could get a "camel toe" and I am NOT a woman. It's not that it is uncorfatable or painfull and I would imagine it could help stayn in position when on the bike, but when running I tend to be straight and with my head slightly up to try and get more air in. i can't imagine running a 5/10k or for that matter a half or full marathon with an outfit pulling you down.
