Schiff "Selective purchaser" (Novato, CA) - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Yakima Powderhound w/Locks (Automotive) Racks work as described. Rubber cushions that hold skis in place do freeze in shape in cold weather but the rack still works and holds skis in place. Locks work fine. Read instructions regarding installation as this set of locks install slightly differently than other Yakima locks I have had. Carries the four pairs of family skis back and forth to Tahoe area (3 hour trip each way) without problem. Leave them locked up on top all day and night except when skiing. Would recommend highly.
